About The Owner
Walter George Gogolin, President, and CEO of GOGOTEC Flat Roofs LLC, oversees the strategic direction and overall business decisions GOGOTEC Flat Roofs and its member companies, operating on a national level.
Walter has spent most of his adult life since 1975 in the roofing business, he grows up in the 3. generation of roofers, his father and grandfather were successfully roofing business owners since 1930, with over 40 years of experience in all aspects of commercial and industrial roofing. He has a wide range of knowledge and personal experience which serves as a basis of consulting for architects and engineers, property owners and managers, insurance companies and adjusters. Walter holds the journeyman’s roofer mechanic certificate since 1978 and since 1988 the master roofer technician tradesman’s certificate and has been certified by several major membrane manufacturers and serves the industry on a national level focusing on high quality and professional roofing. As a flat roofing and waterproofing specialist, Walter has had the pleasure of working with great clients from the commercial, industrial industries. He has performed work in 23 countries around the world for some of the most highly respectable property managers, general contractors, developers and building owners nationwide, Canada and Europe.
As a businessman who understands the necessity for master craftsmanship, Walter holds many special certifications for roofing installation of the highest quality, awarded by manufacturers of roofing products who have seen his work. His understanding that 2/3 of all roof failures are due to improper installation and 90% of all roofs are not installed according to National roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and manufacturers guidelines, is what makes quality of workmanship his top priority.
